Denplan Care
Many people attending the Practice for regular preventive dental care prefer to join a dental health plan. We offer ongoing preventive care under the Denplan scheme.
Denplan care is is essentially a capitation scheme in which the patient pays a fixed monthly fee that covers their routine and preventive dental care. Patients are assessed by the dentist prior to acceptance into the scheme to ensure they are dentally fit and to determine the monthly fee. This is based on the patients previous dental treatment need and therefore the likely future need. The average monthly fee payable to the practice is currently about £19 per month. The Denplan scheme offers an insurance package which covers emergency care both at home and abroad, accidental dental injury cover, oral cancer and hospital cash.
