Colin Larmour BDS FDS RCPS MOrth MSc FDS (Orth) works in the Practice as an Orthodontist. He qualified at Queens University in Belfast in 1988 before completing his postgraduate orthodontic training at the University of Newcastle. He has worked previously in Northern Ireland, Dundee and Sydney (Australia). He is a General Dental Council recognised orthodontic specialist and works as a Consultant Orthodontist at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital as well as providing an orthodontic service to the Practice. His areas of clinical interest include growth modification (functional) treatments in children and adult orthodontics. In his spare time he enjoys mountaineering, skiing, hill running and playing his violin.
Dr Sarah Manton BDS PhD FDS RCS FHEA works one Saturday a month in the practice providing specialist treatment in Periodontology. Sarah accepts referrals from other dentists both locally and nationally, she is a Consultant in Dundee Dental Hospital and School. Sarah is on the Specialist list as a Periodontist.
Peter Coster BDS. Having qualified from Dundee Dental School in 2004 returned to his adopted home of Aberdeen to join The Dental Practice in the summer of 2006 as an associate. In the two years post-qualification Peter worked in the three main areas of dentistry. This involved a year in practice in Aberdeenshire, 6 months in the community service treating the young, the old and patients with special needs and 6 months in the Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic Department at Dundee Dental Hospital. In this time he developed an interest in all aspects of dentistry particularly treating children, orthodontic, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Keen to keep learning and developing his skills he likes to practice preventative and minimally invasive care as well as patient centred treatment. Outside of dentistry he enjoys many different sports including basketball, badminton, football, squash, snowboarding and swimming. Cinema, music, travelling and socialising are also important in his life.
